Kraftwerk lager ny plate

Side-line skriver:
Miracles still happen, especially - if not only - in music land. Ralf Hütter has confirmed Billboard that Kraftwerk is working on a new album. Not that they have completed anything yet: "There's still time to go but in the winter it's pretty gray here, so it's a good situation to go into the studio. It's still very early. It's still in its embryonic stage." Plans exist to tour the new material once the new album is released. It will be the band's first new album since 2003's "Tour De France". The new Kraftwerk album will also be the very first without co-founder Florian Schneider. Schneider left Kraftwerk last November as we reported.

The Kraftwerk member also addressed a point which some of the Side-Line readers addressed earlier on, namely that Kraftwerk did not include the band's very first 3 releases in "The Catalogue" boxset which is about to be released. Talking about the first three albums that preceded "Autobahn" he said: "When I find the time and go through the archives again, we'll do those also in a new format. But my perspective now is forward for the next album."

Two miracles in one message. When will the band be declared holy one might wonder... not.
