Boston-baserte The Magnetic Fields har siden 1990 vært hjertebarnet til Stephin Merritt. Merritt har blant annet blitt kalt indiescenens Brian Wilson, og lager noe av den fineste, mest uskyldsrene popmusikken man kan tenke seg. I 1999 kom trippelalbumet ”69 Love Songs”, et mesterverk av en plate. Magnetic Fields live, er visstnok en fantastisk opplevelse. Gled dere!

That’s right! You heard correctly!! After a 5 year hiatus from the music scene, The Toy Dolls led by the legendary Olga are back! He is joined by drummer Dave The Nut and Tommy Goober on bass, for a brand new studio album and world tour. Their cryptically titled "Our Last Album?" is anticipated to be the best album yet from the band that brought you the likes of "Dig That Groove Baby", "Anniversary Anthems" and "Absurd Ditties". Its’ release is anxiously awaited by an army of excitable Toy Dolls fans the world over. Whilst the band had never actually split, Olga decided to regroup in the summer of 2003 (following a stint playing bass for The Dickies) to write, record and play some new songs. Many late night rehearsals and hours in the studio have culminated in some of the finest songs they have ever recorded. Fans old and new alike are guaranteed to be spellbound and pogo prone with titles such as; "The Death Of Barry The Roofer With Vertigo", "Caught It From Camilla" and "No One Knew The Real Emu", still showing that their unique brand of humour is ever present. Douglas Mcarthy (Ex-Nitzer Ebb) og Terence Fixmer kommer til Kraftverk for å servere oss en god dose muskel-synth.
"Back in the 1980:s, many of the world's dancefloors rocked to the distinctive voice of Douglas McCarthy, vocalist with the mighty Nitzer Ebb, demanding we "Join in the Chant", and "Let Your Body Learn". In the 1990:s, Nitzer Ebb evolved into a rockier outfit, with "Getting Closer", "Fun to Be Had", and "Godhead", announcing their malicious intent. Then in 1995, suddenly, the EBM pioneers ceased to function.
French techno producer Terence Fixmer however, had other ideas. After releasing a string of hard EBM tracks that leaned towards the Ebb sound, he remixed "Let Your Body Learn" in 2002 to great effect, and late last year announced that he and Douglas McCarthy were to begin working on new material."

Senast det begav sig hos oss var hösten 1998, så det är verkligen dags igen, framförallt då deras nya album "6 Feet Under" är en rejäl återgång till klassisk De/Vision synth. Ingen mer rock n roll alltså. Skivan är i skrivande stund deras mest framgångsrika sedan Monosex 1996.
Det här är enda spelningen i norden, vilket gör det hela än mer exklusivt.
