Arvikafestivalen har drivits av engagerade eldsjälar sen 1992. Festivalen har växt från en, i festivalsammanhang, parentes på 2 000 besökare till en av Sveriges största och äldsta festivaler med ett publikrekord på 22 500 besökare (2009). Vi har alltid drivits av viljan att göra en festival som vi själva tycker om – ett alternativ till de bredare evenemangen runt om i landet. På vägen har dock något gått väldigt snett.

The Altern80s er en klubb som hyller den mørkere siden av tiåret som gjorde dystert catchy - nemlig 80-tallet! Forvent kjent og fremmed, melodiøst og merkelig så vel som hardt og silkemykt fra fjernt og nært innen synthpop, new wave, postpunk, cold wave, flexipop, new romantik, italodisco, minimalistisk elektro, dark wave, hi NRG, EBM, NDW og andre nostalgiske obskuriteter av det høyest musikalske slaget.

La oss nevne Dupstep,Drum & bass,old school techno,italy disco,house,break beats,electroclash,electro.
Med andre ord det som er fet å danse til.hva med Benny bennasi mix med dubstep fra Skrillex,Depeche Mode remix fra Digitalism,italio pop fra svenske Maria shapiro,clubelectro fra Emmon,electroclash fra Tiga,felix da Housecat eller techno fra deadmau5.

The first weekend of August 2011, HELLFIRE's traitorous, devil worshipping anti-priests will open the burning gates to the bottomless abyss, unleashing unimaginable horrors upon the world.. Club Metro will be flooded by devouring hellflames, Satan's mutated hellspawn, and beer!

During the occult summoning spells of enormous proportions, The HELLFIRE Club will join forces with HYPERELEKTRIC's cybernetically enhanced starfleet commanders and PAUGH!!'s unstoppable war machines of massive steel, as well as an exclusive selection of some of the world's finest artists of musical perfection:
