CLUB METROPOLIS Presents...
Friday the 21st of April

S.K.E.T. (D)
AMBASSADOR 21 (BLR)
XENOFOBULUS
+ Re-Load Nightclub feat. resident DJs

As a continuation of our 13th anniversary, Club Metropolis presents the more extroverted, destructive side of dark electronic music as we bring you a barrage of industrial mayhem!!

East German comrades S.K.E.T. have recieved critical acclaim over the past couple of years, especially since the release of their full length album " Aktivist " on record label HANDS PRODUCTIONS. The album fused both the conventional aspects of martial industrial and power noise, including cold, bone scraping distortion and militant imagery and beats with hardcore techno/gabba and heavy, minimal electro/EBM - as well as rather unconventional influences such as ska and Russian folk music! The result was a dancefloor onslaught that even brought MASCHINENFEST '05 to its knees.

Belarussian political ear terrorists AMBASSADOR 21 have built up quite a name for themselves over the years - and especially sky-rocketed in the noise scene in the past year, playing several at festivals and doing several collaborations with, remixing and being remixed by the likes of FOETUS, CONVERTER, SYNAPSCAPE, C-DRIK/AXIOME, PROYECTO MIRAGE, NOIZE PUNISHMENT and SCHIZOID.
Their furious, uncomprimising, almost-nearing-total-frantic-insanity mix of digital hardcore, breakcore, experimental, electro, old school industrial, power noise and, not to forget, PUNK FUCKING ROCK , gives rise to comparisons with bands spanning from the obvious ATARI TEENAGE RIOT/ALEC EMPIRE, HYPNOSKULL and EC8OR/PATRIC CATANI, to punk such as THE RAMONES, CRASS and even post industrial acts such as SKINNY PUPPY, MINISTRY and NINE INCH NAILS.
AMBASSADOR 21's ruthless mix of punk noise and breakcore tore a big, gaping hole through MASCHINENFEST '05 , so rest assured: You're in for something fierce!

Copenhagen-based one man act XENOFOBULUS is the instrumental solo-project of controversial industrial/black metal band STORMSLAG frontman Jim Christensen . The influences are many, and as such, XENOFOBULUS remains an experimental project - taking the brutality of death metal, the solemn intensity of dark folk, the danceability of industrial-electro and the heavy atmosphere of dark ambient.

After the concerts, we'll carve out a new dancefloor in The Rock when our resident Re-Load Nightclub DJs dish out aural punishment as well as candy, with our resident DJs spinning everything from synth, electro and EBM to experimental, heavy industrial and all out noise!!
