Simple Minds has sold over 40 millions album during their 30 years in the music industry. From the start in the 80s, as one of the most critical acclaimed bands in UK, to the last year release of Grafitti Soul, shows that the band still the energy and talent to create hits and deliver inspiring and powerful concerts.

With Jim Kerr as a charismatic frontman, the Simple Minds got its commercial breakthrough with the albums New Gold Dream (1982) and Sparkle in the Rain (1984). The latter got a number one at the British album lists. The single "Don't You (Forget About Me)" appeared as a soundtrack on the characteristic 80s movie "The Breakfast Club", and became in many ways the soundtrack of the last half of the 80s. This song has meant a lot for a whole generation all over the world. In 1985 the song went all the way to the top in the US, and Simple Minds was the one of the greatest band in the world. At that time, Simple Minds changed its musical style to a more epic stadium rock á la U2.

Simple Minds in 2010 gives the audience value for money, combining powerful appearances on stages with great music from their 30 year career.
