The term was coined in 1958 by Klaus Conrad, who defined it as the "unmotivated seeing of connections" accompanied by a "specific experience of an abnormal meaningfulness".

DJ Halfface is a well-known character in the clubscene of Oslo. He started DJing in 1995 at the legendary club So What, and has since then been playing at numerous clubs & events. Among these are Neon, Boots and Sneakers, Korova Milkbar, Kraftverk, Gotham Nights and Oslo Synthfestival. Halfface plays hard, danceable music that fills the room with energy. He is always updated on new music within most genres, but his DJ sets also contain classic tracks from the last decade (hentet fra blackalert.com)
