Club Metropolis in association with The Black Cat is proud to present one of the most talked about new martial folk bands of the past year - ROME. With their eagerly awaited masterpiece of a debut full length album, Nera, they’ve brought together the stark, dark, heavy atmospheres of militant industrial with warm and emotional folk pop. The resulting compositions are masterfully produced and have stylistic traces that span decades – energetic martial pop music woven with an equal amount of apocalyptic folk (Sophia, Boyd Rice), gothic rock (And Also The Trees) and old school industrial (Test Dept, In Slaughter Natives) written into its fabrics.
