live for the first time at Cafe Mono, Oslo, April 24th.

will give it’s first live performance at Cafe Mono’s fourth anniversary. Doors close at 2100 hrs. Show starts at 2200 hrs, sharp. Doors reopen at 2400hrs. A limited number of tickets are available at Mono / 100 NOK.

Performing at Cafe Mono is our tribute to the unique and inspiring attitude of the place, the people who work there, and the regulars.

New Norwegian Noise
On the dark side of Music, in a mental void between jazz and metal, there is the .

It’s been a long time. The old studio is filled with trash and dead past. No revival intended.

Cheap beer and one cigarette lighting the next. The air gets stuffed in no time. We’re back.

Alf brings out the old Hagstrom and the Rat. It hasn’t been touched since December 1991. The thin E-string is missing (what else is new). Small spots of rust. Lots of cable noise. He doesn’t tune, and starts playing with a bottle neck in each hand (what else is new).
Rune starts a loop om the lap top (this is new). Nobody knows what’s going to happen next (that is not).
What else is new? - The music is (if you want to call it that). The energy? - The same, but different: Older. Cunning. But back. Old bodies painfully remember, and try to escape. That old Demon, or Muse (or what ever), definitely has a plan. Whether it’s one we’ll enjoy or not, is too early to tell.
